Owners Troy & Molly Mueller

Over 25 years ago, Molly and I came up with an idea for a little "side" business doing home maintenance and repair. For the first handful of years, while we both worked full time, I would then spend evenings and weekends working for Finding Time Maintenance and Repair. Molly took care of the office administration. It soon became evident that there were simply no longer enough hours in the day to work full-time and do this business "on the side". Our customer list was growing and some of the projects I was being asked to do would require more time and effort. After much prayerful consideration, the decision was made that I would do the Finding Time business full-time and Molly would continue to help part-time.

Fast forward to 2020... Finding Time Maintenance and Repair has grown into Finding Time Contracting - a full service residential and commercial remodeling company. We have been blessed with amazingly talented staff that have helped us to grow and change into who we are today. This is so much more than just a business to us. This is really a mission we feel called to. It has been the honor of our lives to serve the Greater Fox Cities area for the last 25 years. We look forward to many more years to come!

Randy Brochtrup - Business Developer

Randy has been with us since we ran the business out of our home. Those were some cozy days with the three of us around our kitchen table while our office was being built!

Randy is our Business Developer and he is integral to the success of our business. He is the first point of contact for all of our customers. He is the pleasant voice they hear on the phone and the man behind the emails!

Randy schedules all of our estimate appointments and does all the follow-up correspondence with our new customers. In addition, he helps us manage our workload by keeping a steady flow of potential new business coming in.

Randy brings with him years of experience as a business owner himself. His customer service skills and business instincts are outstanding. He is a valuable advisor when we make important business decisions. We feel so blessed to have Randy on our team!

Kelly Behnke - Office Manager

Kelly is a construction professional with over 30 years of experience in residential remodeling and new construction. After earning a degree in Architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, she started her career by designing and selling residential remodeling projects, assisting customer in all phases of their project.

Project Managers

The role of the Project Manager is an important one. Once a job is signed and scheduled with us, the PM is the primary point of contact for the property owner, the crew, and our subcontractors. They oversee the entire project from start to finish.

If changes or additions need to be made in the schedule or scope of work, the PM's will orchestrate those changes. They will update owners on progress, help to facilitate the delivery of materials, and ensure that we stay on schedule and within budget. Sometimes he can even be found swinging a hammer with the crew!

Jeff Herbst - Project Manager

Jeff is a native of the Fox River Valley and has recently relocated back to our community. We are so blessed that he has joined our team!

He is a great team player and a strong leader. Construction is a very fluid process and it takes someone with extensive experience in the industry to effectively manage the process.

Jeff has that experience in spades. His entire professional career has been in construction and project management. His experience and wisdom will be invaluable to us as we continue to expand our services.

David Laugenschlager - Project Manager

Dave joined our team in early 2025. He brings with him over a decade of remodeling and property management experience. For a handful of those years, Dave was self-employed as a remodeler and home repair specialist. Dave's customer service skills, leadership experience and attention to detail make him a great fit as one of our project managers. Fun fact, Dave's educational background is in Conservation Forestry!

Estimators

The role of the Estimator is a critical one. Our Estimators meet with the home or business owners, on site, for the initial appointment to walk through the space and get the scope of work. In many cases, our Estimators are helping the customers design the best use of space. Once they understand the full scope of the work, the real work begins. They create drawings of the space when needed. They then work closely with our suppliers and subcontractors to generate detailed, accurate proposals for the customer.

Matt Marcks - Estimator

Matt grew up in Northeast Wisconsin. He got his start in the construction industry by building yachts - which he did for 13 years. From there, Jim became a business owner in a different industry for nearly 20 years. Jim decided to go back to school to get his Associates degree in law enforcement., where he served his community for a number of years. Ultimately, he came back to his roots in construction and has served as both a Project Manager and Estimator.

Jim Brazeau - Estimator

Jim joined us in mid 2025. He brings 30+ years of construction and maintenance experience. Jim has a breadth of knowledge in the building and remodeling industry. In addition to estimating, Jim has hands-on experience in framing, roofing, siding, and finish carpentry. Having done the work himself, he knows exactly what it takes to complete a project from start to finish!

She can often be found in the Finding Time Office. If Molly is there, Kiwi is in the office, where she takes her job of welcoming guests and delivery drivers very seriously.
